When it comes to investments, that are few people who are as respected as Warren Buffett. The Oracle of Omaha is one of the richest persons in the world, still drives a simple car, and eats his MacDonald’s daily, almost like a religion.

However, his consistency and investment philosophies are respected worldwide and inspired many people to get in touch with the stock market.

Buffett is the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, an investment fund and holding founded by Warren. From time to time, its wallet is open to us, mere mortals can take a look at where Buffett`s bets are into.

In this article, let’s take a look deeper into Berkshire Hathaway’s wallet and biggest positions.

But before that, it’s important to state that this is not investment advice. These stocks were bought by Buffett’s company, reflect his investment philosophy, and are the result of his studies and how he understands and handles the pressure of the market.

If you are an investor of your own, you should not merely repeat anyone’s wallet, instead, you need to study and understand what you think is a good stock and if you can handle its up and downs.

This is merely a look into Warren Buffett`s wallet, nothing can stop you from studying some of these companies and if it fits you, buy some share of them.

We will be looking into Berkshire Hathaway’s top 3 shares, so we can dwell a little on each one of them.

How to invest in a stock

Are you thinking of making more income? Check this guide on how to start investing in the stock market and maximize your revenue.

Apple Inc.

With 894,802,319 shares invest, this amount of stock adds up to more than US$ 100 billion, which is about 40% of BH’s Portfolio.

This one very well reflects Warren Buffet`s investment philosophy, which is based on consistency and belief in the company`s point of view.

Apple is the most valuable company in the world, still tries to innovate, and shows no signs of stopping down. It is true that, as a consolidated company, its stocks won`t rise like a startup, but the dividend share, alongside a solid foundation, makes this a very good bet on a long-term game.

Bank of America

One of the biggest banks in the country and the third most valuable non-oil company. This paper is on Berkshire Hathaway for the same reasons as Apple’s paper.

Bank stocks are known for the dividend they pay, so it is a very good idea to have them in your wallet, so you can keep reinvesting while having a very steady paper on your wallet of investments.

Regarding numbers, 1,010,100,606 shares of BOA are invested, which adds up to almost 10% of Berkshire Hathaway’s portfolio, and around US$ 30 billion in market value.

Coca Cola

With an exact 400,000,000 shares, which make more than US$ 25 billion dollar in market value, Coca-Cola finishing in third place on Berkshire Hathaway’s portfolio allows us to understand from a more profound point of view the way that Warren Buffett chooses his investments.

As told before, Buffett eats MacDonald every day, and drinks Coca-Cola every day, despite his doctors’ advice. The top 3 companies on his portfolio are companies that are in the routine of almost every American, and some, like Coca-Cola, are in the routine of many people worldwide.

So, there are investors that prefer to bet on a startup and expects its share to rise up very fast, so they can buy out and cash in their money.

For Warren Buffet, even at age 92, the long way is the shortest way, he prefers to bet on safe and consolidated companies to be his foundation, so he will be on the game, and always win, little by little, penny by penny.
