Apple Fitness Plus
One of the top fitness apps for Apple Watch users is Apple Fitness Plus. There is a wide selection of workouts available, led by a variety of different trainers, including HIIT, strength, core, yoga, Pilates, and meditation courses.
During testing, we also appreciated the presence of two teachers who provided changes for beginners or those who wanted to push themselves further.
This feature is especially helpful because there is no way to filter classes based on difficulty.
At first sight, the app could seem a little overwhelming, but classes can be filtered by the trainer, time, and your preferred music for working out.
Additionally, you can add courses to your library, which will enable a quick selection of courses you have already completed or intend to study in the future.

Peloton
If you can’t afford a Peloton exercise bike or Tread to stay in shape, the Peloton workout app is the next best thing.
Numerous interesting classes are available that will tone and strengthen you while giving you the Peloton rush.
The teachers stand out from the crowd in terms of their energy, and there is also the option to participate in live sessions and compete against peers.
Because this app includes everything from strength training to yoga to HIIT cardio, it was difficult to become bored while testing it.
It’s great to have the option to combine sessions since it makes it easy to integrate a stretch or cool-down into your workout.
The workouts are easy to follow on a phone or tablet, but for the full Peloton experience, we advise viewing the exercises live on TV.
Nike Training Club
Nike offered the content of its Nike Training Club app for free for 90 days starting in March 2020 in an effort to motivate people to be active while staying at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since then, users have had complete access to the app for no additional cost; unlike the other apps on this list, it no longer has a premium edition.
With the change, Nike did away with some of its training programs, which were a popular app feature.
Instead, you may now select to filter workouts based on the type of equipment, the workout focus (such as yoga, endurance, mobility, or strength training), the muscle area (such as the abs and core, the arms and shoulders, or the glutes and legs), or both.
Additionally available are the filters for length, degree, and severity.
Strava
One of the best running apps out there, Strava, offers both a free and paid subscription option for walkers, bikers and runners to track their progress.
Despite the app’s popularity as a running and cycling app, you can track a total of 31 other activities.
The list includes hobbies like stand-up paddleboarding, yoga, canoeing, electric biking, swimming, and alpine skiing.
It’s important to understand that Strava is a progress tracking app and that there aren’t any exercises available on it. Therefore, don’t sign up for this app and expect to follow a strength training session, unlike the other apps on this list.
