Even though Oprah Winfrey is worth a billion dollars, her fortune isn’t quite as large as that of the late President Donald Trump.

What was Oprah’s first job?
When Winfrey was 15 years old, she had her first paid job “babysitting Mrs. Ashberry’s rowdy kids,” according to a post on Oprah.com.
She claims Mrs. Ashberry underpaid her at 50 cents an hour since she also expected her to clean the house.
Next, she worked at a five-and-dime and was paid $1.50 per hour. She landed her first job in broadcasting at the age of 17—a radio gig that paid $100 a week.

When Winfrey first began her TV career, she was a news anchor. However, she frequently broke down in tears on air because of her intense empathy for the people she interviewed.

General Motors spent an estimated $7.9 million on the distribution of brand-new Pontiac G-6 vehicles, and it also paid the associated sales taxes.
However, the victors had to pay up to $7,000 in income taxes on their winnings.
Oprah, the investor
For a total of $43 million in 2015, Winfrey paid $6.79 per share to acquire 10% of Weight Watchers.
The shares were going for roughly $63 in January 2018, more than nine times what she had paid.
Oprah also makes real estate investments. Winfrey currently resides in California, Florida, Washington, Colorado, Tennessee, Illinois, and Hawaii, among other locations.
She knows how to sell man things, especially books!
Numerous of Oprah Winfrey’s books have reached the top of the New York Times bestseller list and made her millions of dollars.
She is not merely a writer, though; she is also the kind of lively reader that other authors adore.
According to USA Today, the book club she started on her show in 1996 contributed to the sale of an estimated 55 million copies of the 70 books she advocated.
