So, in this article, we are going to be taking a look at some of the best soccer players right now.
Again, like the article with the best basketball players of all time, of course, there will be some stats and history to justify some of my options, but in the end, it’s going to be my opinion.
Another thing, I won’t be pointing out position, these players can be arranged in any order you like.
To complete it, some of these stats may be outdated as you read, since there are some games being already played right now. But I showed them so you can have a glimpse of how amazing these people are.
With all that said and done, let’s jump into the list.
The best basketball players of all time
We tried, but we know it's hard. In this article, we've ranked who we thought to be the best basketball players of all time, for many reasons.
Robert Lewandowski
The world’s top goal scorer right now may be the 32-year-old former attacker for Bayern Munich.
Lewandowski scored 294 goals in 329 appearances throughout his seven seasons at Bayern, including 203 goals in 219 league games. He did it in a remarkable way.
He received the 2020 FIFA Men’s Player of the Year and UEFA Player of the Year awards.
Six times, he has been the Bundesliga’s top scorer. Additionally, he won Player of the Season twice and was named to the tournament’s Team of the Year eight times.
In seven seasons, he has guided Bayern to seven Bundesliga championships, one Champions League crown in 2020, and a total of 17 titles.

Cristiano Ronaldo
Ronaldo is frequently regarded as the best player in the world and is regarded as one of the greatest players in history.
Cristiano has a record-tying five Ballon d’Or awards, the most by a European player, and is the first person to win four European Golden Shoes.
He is also the first player to receive the award. 29 trophies total, including six league championships, five UEFA Champions Leagues, one UEFA European Championship, and one UEFA Nations League, have been won by him throughout his career.
The Portuguese is a prolific goal scorer who holds the UEFA Champions League (126) and UEFA European Championship (9), as well as the records for most assists in the Champions League (44) and European Championship (6).
Lionel Messi
It would seem impossible for any player from Argentina to reach the caliber necessary to compete with someone like Maradona, but Lionel Messi has accomplished just that during his illustrious career with FC Barcelona, one of the most renowned teams in all the sports.
He established himself as the player with the greatest talent to step on a ball while also being the team’s all-time leading scorer, winning a record six Ballon d’Or awards.
Lionel has consistently been among the highest-paid players in any sport, even as he has aged and has continued to be the best player alive.
Messi is a once-in-a-lifetime talent who has flourished in a period when sportsmen are trained to the pinnacle of their abilities and made into physical freaks.
Neymar
Neymar Jr. is on this list despite dealing with injury issues this season and not having played since early March as a result of Ligue 1’s choice to stop the season early rather than resume play following lockdown.
This should demonstrate how amazing the Brazilian winger is when healthy. Neymar only played in 15 league games this season, scoring 13 goals and dishing out 6 assists.
These figures climb to 18 goals and 10 assists in 22 games across all competitions.
In any of his three seasons at Paris Saint-Germain, Neymar hasn’t been able to sustain full-season fitness, but his elite quality is always obvious when he’s on the pitch.
It is important to point out he hasn’t won the Ballon d’Or for just three reasons: Messi, Ronaldo, and injury.
