Canada is the largest nation in the Western Hemisphere and, after Russia, the second largest nation on Earth. It has a single border with the United States of America.

 In Eureka, Nunavut, the average annual temperature is -19.7 °C (-3.5 °F), making it the coldest place in Canada. Wow.

Uncommon knowledge about Canada is that it is home to the only walled city on the entire continent, north of Mexico.

However, the city walls of Quebec were constructed in the 17th century.

 The walls were then improved upon after British forces had taken the city. They are now a UNESCO World Heritage site and are fairly well kept.

Contrary to popular belief, Canadians consume mac & cheese at a rate of about 55% higher than their southern neighbors.
