If you’re searching for a role that leverages your sales experience and communication skills, the Inbound Lead Response / Call Center Agent position may be suitable for you. This is a full-time opportunity. Minimum requirements include matric and at least three years in a similar sales or telesales role. Ideal candidates are fluent in English, with Afrikaans as an advantage, and those with knowledge of debt counselling will stand out.
The compensation structure hasn’t been disclosed, but candidates should be prepared for a target-driven environment. The job offers a stable schedule with a clear focus on achieving conversion ratios and customer satisfaction. Applicants with experience in financial services or insurance will find the responsibilities familiar and manageable, making the transition smooth for those ready for the next step in their sales career.
Responsabilidades diarias
Your main focus will be to contact leads from inbound sources, such as website forms, campaigns and advertisements. This requires prompt follow-up to maximise every prospect.
Each call is aimed at understanding what the customer needs and then providing the best solution or information. You’ll be expected to qualify leads, record all interactions in a CRM, and maintain daily targets.
Pushing towards conversions – be it sales, appointments, or sign-ups – is key. Handling queries, resolving objections, and escalating more complex situations to management are regular parts of the job.
Additionally, you’ll work closely with your team leader, offering feedback on lead quality and the effectiveness of campaigns, and keeping up to date with all compliance requirements.
This role values professionalism, a customer-first attitude, strong verbal and written communication skills, and good organisational habits. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is advantageous.
Ventajas del puesto
A major advantage of this position is the active, fast-paced workday that comes from handling inbound leads rather than cold calling. This means you’re speaking to interested prospects most of the time.
You’ll also get the chance to build strong communication skills and resilience, which are assets in any sales or customer service career. The structured targets help you understand exactly how to succeed daily.
Desventajas del rol
The role comes with performance targets, which can be stressful, especially during quiet periods. If you’re not comfortable with sales quotas, it may not be ideal.
There’s also little mention of flexible work arrangements, so expect a traditional routine and in-office expectations. If this doesn’t align with your lifestyle, keep this in mind.
Veredicto
If you thrive in customer-facing environments, are undeterred by targets, and have solid sales experience, this job can be a great match. It’s an excellent opportunity to utilise and further develop your persuasive and organisational talents while working towards clear goals.
